Overview
Sikkim, a small Indian state in the Eastern Himalayas, is a land of unparalleled natural beauty, vibrant Buddhist culture, and tranquil landscapes. It’s home to the majestic Kanchenjunga, pristine lakes like Tsomgo, and lush valleys, making it a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. Highlights include Gangtok’s lively MG Marg and Rumtek Monastery, the spiritual Tsomgo Lake and Nathula Pass, and the stunning mountain views from Pelling and North Sikkim’s Yumthang Valley. Sikkim is also India’s first fully organic state, offering a unique blend of spiritual peace and breathtaking scenery.
Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok
- Activities: Bike pick-up, local permits, city acclimatisation.
- Places to explore: MG Marg, Enchey Monastery, Tashi View Point.
- Altitude: ~5,410 ft (1,650 m)
- Stay: Gangtok
Day 2: Gangtok → Tsomgo Lake → Nathula Pass → Gangtok (Day Trip)
- Distance: ~120 km round trip
- Ride details: Curvy, high-altitude road. Start early.
- Highlights: Tsomgo Lake, Baba Harbhajan Mandir, Nathula Pass (Indo-China border)
- Permits needed: Nathula Pass (Indian citizens only)
- Stay: Gangtok
Day 3: Gangtok → Lachen
- Distance: ~120 km (6–8 hours)
- Ride details: Scenic mountain roads, waterfalls, slow but stunning ride.
- En-route stops: Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik Viewpoint
- Altitude: ~8,800 ft (2,680 m)
- Stay: Lachen
Day 4: Lachen → Gurudongmar Lake → Lachung
- Distance: ~220 km round trip (10–12 hours)
- Highlights: Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft), one of the highest lakes in the world
- Ride notes: Cold, rough terrain. Start before dawn.
- Post-lake ride: Return to Lachen, then continue to Lachung (~2 hrs)
- Stay: Lachung
Day 5: Lachung → Yumthang Valley → Zero Point → Lachung
- Distance: ~120 km round trip
- Highlights: Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers), Hot Springs, Zero Point (snow most of the year)
- Ride notes: Scenic, moderate altitude
- Stay: Lachung
Day 6: Lachung → Gangtok
- Distance: ~115 km (5–6 hours)
- Ride notes: Descend via beautiful North Sikkim roads
- Evening: Rest, shopping at MG Marg
- Stay: Gangtok
Day 7: Gangtok → Departure
- Optional short ride if time allows: Rumtek Monastery, Namchi, or Temi Tea Garden (if exiting via South Sikkim)
Tips & Essentials:
- Permits: ILP (Inner Line Permit), North Sikkim Permit, Nathula Pass Permit (Indian citizens only).
- Best time: March–June or September–November.
- Bike: RE Himalayan, Classic 350/500, or similar adventure tourers.
- Gear up: Cold weather gear, rain protection, oxygen cans (for Gurudongmar).
- Fuel up: Fuel stations are sparse in North Sikkim — carry extra fuel.
- Stay: Book in advance, especially for Lachen/Lachung.

Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure will be subject to the following forfeit | Before 45 days: 25% of tour cost | 45 - 30 days: 50 % of tour cost | 30 - 20 days: 75% of tour cost | Within 20 days: 100% of tour cost | No exception to this policy can be made for any reason.
46 Days or more before date of departure: 25% of total cost. | 31 - 45 Days before date of departure: 50% of total cost. | 30 days before date of departure: 100% of total cost.
Any increase in cost because of change in the itinerary due to reasons beyond our control (force majeure) like landslides, riots, traffic jams etc. | Any dispute is subject to Delhi jurisdiction only.
