At Brahmatal, the tranquil, frozen lake amidst snow-covered surroundings exudes an otherworldly charm. INCLUSIONS / EXCLUSIONS
Meet us early morning at Kathgodam Railway Station (or the bus stand, based on your convenience). Begin a picturesque 9-hour drive to the base camp at Lohajung, with breaks along the way. The drive runs parallel to the Kosi and Pindar rivers, offering stunning views of the Nanda Ghunti peak. Pass through scenic hill stations like Almora and Kausani, building excitement for the trek ahead. Arrive at Lohajung, enjoy a delicious meal, and check into your guesthouse or homestay for the night.
After a hot breakfast, begin your 7-8 km trek to Bekaltal, which will take around 5 hours. The trek follows well-defined trails with a gradual incline. Enjoy breathtaking views of Kali Valley along the way, crossing a 10-meter bridge at around 8,500 ft. Arrive at Bekaltal, relax by the lake, and enjoy a delicious dinner before retiring to your tents.
Start your day with a glorious sunrise and breakfast before beginning your 7 km trek to Brahamatal. The trail begins with a steep ascent, which softens to a gradual incline before descending to Brahamatal lake. Trek through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests, reaching Telindi for a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. In winter, the Brahmatal lake is camouflaged by snow, blending seamlessly with the surroundings. Arrive at the campsite, enjoy your dinner, and rest for the night.
