Starting and ending in the charming town of McLeodganj, this 35 km trek takes you through lush forests, alpine meadows, rocky ridgelines, and the legendary Indrahar Pass summit at 4,342 m (14,245 ft).

- McLeodganj to Triund: Begin from McLeodganj, passing through oak and rhododendron forests to the serene Triund meadow (~2,825 m). Ideal for acclimatization and campfire evenings.
- Triund to Laka Got and Lahesh Cave: Ascend further through Snowline Café and grazing trails to Laka Got (~3,300 m), then reach the dramatic Lahesh Cave (~3,800 m).
- Summit Day: Lahesh Cave to Indrahar Pass: Tackle the steep final push to the pass at 4,342 m. Enjoy sweeping views of Kangra Valley, the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges, and even Manimahesh Kailash on a clear day.
- Return & Descent via Kuarsi Valley: Descend via Chhata Parao and Kuarsi, crossing glacier-fed streams and alpine meadows before returning to McLeodganj.

- Monsoon season (July–August): Not advisable due to heavy rain and slippery trails.
