 New Delhi to Mandawa

Your journey begins in the heart of India—New Delhi—as we set out on our expedition to Mandawa, a quaint town nestled in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Known as an open-air art gallery, Mandawa is celebrated for its beautifully painted havelis and intricate frescoes that capture the essence of Rajasthani heritage.

The route features smooth highways, ensuring a comfortable ride. We recommend an early start to make the most of your day in Mandawa. Upon arrival, check into your pre-arranged accommodation.

The remainder of the day is yours to explore. You can unwind at the hotel or stroll through the town’s vibrant streets, admiring the exquisite mural-covered havelis and browsing local flea markets. Don’t miss the iconic Mandawa Fort, a majestic structure offering panoramic views and a glimpse into royal life.

Mandawa to Jodhpur

Distance: 330 km | Travel Time: Approx. 7–8 Hours
Highlights: Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey toward Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City of Rajasthan. Although the distance exceeds 300 km, the smooth and arrow-straight highways make for a comfortable ride, with an estimated travel time of about 7–8 hours.

As we ride deeper into the state, you'll witness a gradual transformation in the landscape—from greener plains to the more arid, desert-like terrain that Rajasthan is known for.

Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check in at your accommodation and prepare to explore the vibrant heart of the city. Start with a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most imposing forts in India, offering panoramic views and a rich collection of artifacts. Just a short walk away is the Jaswant Thada, a serene marble cenotaph that stands in quiet contrast to the fort’s grandeur.

Take time in the evening to wander through the bustling alleyways around the Clock Tower, known not only for local handicrafts but also for a wide array of delicious Rajasthani street food—a must-try for any foodie.

Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

Distance: 280 km | Travel Time: Approx. 6–8 Hours

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we hit the road again—this time heading toward the Golden City of Jaisalmer. This scenic ride through the heart of Rajasthan takes around 6 hours, though you might find yourself pausing along the way to capture the stark beauty of the desert landscape, so expect a slightly longer travel time.

Roughly two-thirds into the journey, we’ll pass through the historically significant village of Pokhran, known for its fort and for being the site of India’s nuclear tests.

Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, check in and take some time to relax. Later in the day, step out to explore this mesmerizing desert town. From intricately carved temples and grand heritage sites to vibrant bazaars, Jaisalmer offers an immersive experience into Rajasthan’s rich past and colorful culture.

As the day winds down, find a quiet spot to watch the city’s iconic sandstone architecture bathed in golden hues by the setting sun—a truly magical moment that defines the charm of Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer – Longewala – Jaisalmer

Distance: 240 km (Round Trip) | Travel Time: Approx. 5–6 Hours
Highlights: Desert Ride, Indo-Pak Border Town, Longewala War Museum

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, gear up for a thrilling day ride through the heart of the Thar Desert. Today’s journey takes you westward toward Longewala, the historic border post made famous by the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

The ride is a visual treat—camel carts navigating golden sand dunes, endless stretches of desert on both sides, and that unmistakable feeling of vast openness that only the Thar can provide. Be sure to pause for a few photo stops—this is your chance to capture epic shots of your bike set against a truly cinematic desert backdrop.

After a few hours on the road, we arrive in Longewala, where history comes alive. Visit the Longewala War Museum, which features real tanks, fighter jets, and artillery used during the legendary battle. The site offers powerful insights into one of India’s most iconic military victories.

Following exploration and a short break, we’ll make our way back to Jaisalmer in the evening. You can choose to spend the night at your hotel or opt for a desert campsite for an authentic Rajasthani experience under the stars.

Jaisalmer to Udaipur

Distance: 490 km | Travel Time: Approx. 9 Hours
Highlights: Aravalli Hills, Scenic Highways, Lake Pichola

Today marks the longest ride of the expedition, so we’ll be setting out early. Covering nearly 500 km, this stretch offers a rewarding ride through well-paved roads, winding through forested landscapes and the rolling Aravalli Hills—a refreshing contrast to the desert terrain of previous days.

After a full day on the road, we’ll arrive in the majestic city of Udaipur—often called the City of Lakes. Known for its romantic charm and regal architecture, Udaipur offers a soothing retreat after the long journey.

In the evening, enjoy a leisurely boat ride on Lake Pichola, taking in views of Jag Mandir, City Palace, and the surrounding hills. As the sun sets over the water, the city transforms into a glowing canvas of reflections—perfect for unwinding.

If time and energy allow, consider a short ride up to Badi Lake viewpoint, a hidden gem that offers a panoramic view of Udaipur and its surrounding hills and lakes.

Udaipur to Pushkar

Distance: 280 km | Travel Time: Approx. 6 Hours

Today brings a more relaxed pace. After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, begin your ride toward Pushkar, a quaint and spiritual town tucked between hills and desert. The journey is smooth and scenic, offering serene countryside views and quiet roads—perfect for a laid-back ride after the long haul to Udaipur.

Pushkar is known for its bohemian charm, holy lake, and soulful atmosphere, attracting travelers from across the globe who seek a blend of culture, spirituality, and serenity.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel or campsite and take some time to relax. In the afternoon or evening, head out to explore the town on foot. Visit the famous Brahma Temple, the only one of its kind in the world, and stroll through the bustling bazaar streets dotted with cafes, handicraft shops, and local art.

If you're feeling adventurous, hike up to the Savitri Mata Temple, perched on a hilltop. The short trek rewards you with panoramic views of Pushkar, its holy lake, and the surrounding desert landscape—especially breathtaking at sunset.

Pushkar to Jaipur

Distance: 150 km | Travel Time: Approx. 4 Hours
Highlights: Scenic Countryside Ride, Jaipur Sightseeing, Nahargarh Fort

After six days of riding through Rajasthan’s diverse landscapes, today we reach the vibrant capital city—Jaipur, also known as the Pink City. Although the distance is just 150 km, we recommend an early start to maximize your time exploring Jaipur’s rich heritage and bustling markets.

Arrive around noon and check in to your hotel. Once refreshed, hop back on your bike for a scenic ride through the city streets. Dive into the colorful handicraft markets, visit museums, and admire iconic landmarks. While one day isn’t enough to see everything Jaipur has to offer, aim to explore as much as possible.

As evening approaches, take a ride up to the majestic Nahargarh Fort for panoramic views of the city at sunset—a truly unforgettable sight.

For dinner, you have options: enjoy a complimentary meal at the hotel or venture out to one of Jaipur’s popular authentic Rajasthani restaurants, where you can savor traditional cuisine accompanied by lively folk music performed by local musicians.

Jaipur to New Delhi

Distance: 280 km | Travel Time: Approx. 5–6 Hours
Highlights: The Final Ride, Scenic Route via Neemrana and Gurgaon

Wake up at a relaxed pace this morning—today marks the final leg of your incredible Rajasthan expedition. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and if you wish, take some extra time to explore any Jaipur sights you might have missed the previous day.

When ready, set out on the ride back to New Delhi. The smooth highways of NH-48 promise a comfortable and scenic journey, passing through the charming town of Neemrana—famous for its historic fort—and the bustling city of Gurgaon before reaching the national capital.

Upon arrival in Delhi, bid farewell to your fellow riders and reflect on the memories forged over this monumental journey through Rajasthan’s vibrant landscapes and rich culture.
