Indore to Ujjain
Kickstart your spiritual getaway with Backpackclan as we pick you up early morning from Indore and drive towards the sacred city of Ujjain — one of India’s oldest and most revered pilgrimage destinations, nestled on the banks of the holy Kshipra River.
Upon arrival, check-in to your pre-booked hotel and get ready to explore the divine energy of this ancient city. Your Ujjain tour includes visits to spiritually significant landmarks such as the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, the mystical Kaal Bhairav Temple, Sandipani Ashram, Bada Ganesh, and the powerful Harsiddhi Mata Temple.
After soaking in the spiritual essence of Ujjain, you can either return to Indore the same evening or opt for an overnight stay at your booked hotel in Ujjain — as per your chosen package.
Ujjain to Omkareshwar
After a refreshing breakfast, we begin our scenic drive towards Omkareshwar — one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, uniquely located on an island in the Narmada River shaped like the divine symbol ‘ॐ (Om)’.
Upon arrival, experience the spiritual aura of this revered destination with darshan at the Omkareshwar Temple and the nearby Mamleshwar Temple, both deeply rooted in ancient mythology and devotion.
The evening is free to relax by the riverside or explore the spiritual ambience of the town.

Omkareshwar – Maheshwar – Mandu
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey towards Mandu, with an enriching stop at the heritage town of Maheshwar en route.
Explore the timeless beauty of Maheshwar, once the capital of the Holkar dynasty. Visit the majestic Ahilya Fort, perched along the banks of the Narmada River, along with the serene Ahilyeshwar Temple and Maheshwar Shiva Temple, known for their intricate architecture and spiritual significance.
Continue your drive to the historic hilltop town of Mandu, known for its Indo-Afghan architecture and romantic ruins. Indore Local Sightseeing & Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head out for the final leg of your journey — exploring the spiritual and cultural gems of Indore.
Visit the revered Khajrana Ganesh Temple, known for its spiritual significance and local devotion, followed by a stop at the iconic Bada Ganpati, home to one of the largest Ganesh idols in the world. Dive into Indore’s royal past with a quick revisit to Rajwada Palace, and take time to explore the bustling local markets around Rajwada, perfect for last-minute shopping and souvenirs.
By evening, you will be dropped at Indore Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey — taking with you unforgettable memories, soulful experiences, and a piece of Madhya Pradesh in your heart.
