On the first day of your Bhrigu Lake trek, our representatives will meet you at Mall Road in Manali. After a brief introduction and final preparations, you’ll begin your journey.
From Manali, you will be driven to Gulaba, which is approximately 38 km away and takes around 1 to 2 hours to reach by road. Upon arrival at Gulaba, you will continue your journey towards Kothi Thel, where you can have a light breakfast to fuel up for the trek ahead.
The main trek to Rola Kholi begins from here, and it is a scenic 6-hour trek through lush meadows, dense forests, and gradually ascending paths. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
By the time you reach Rola Kholi, you’ll have completed the first phase of the trek. Set up camp, relax, and enjoy a hearty dinner as you settle in for a peaceful night under the stars, preparing for the next day’s adventure.
Day 2 – Reach Bhrigu Lake
After a nutritious breakfast at the campsite, you’ll begin your exciting trek towards Bhrigu Lake. The trail is a bit challenging but offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows, and vast valleys. As you ascend, the beauty of the Himalayas will keep you motivated and energized.
Upon reaching Bhrigu Lake, you’ll be mesmerized by the crystal-clear waters of the lake, nestled amidst towering peaks. Spend some time exploring the area, soaking in the serene beauty, and participating in any available activities. The tranquil atmosphere of the lake makes it the perfect spot for relaxation and reflection.
After you’ve spent some quality time at Bhrigu Lake, you’ll begin your descent back to Rola Kholi. As you return, enjoy the picturesque views one more time before reaching the campsite for a well-deserved rest and a delicious dinner.
Day 3 – Reaching Manali from Rola Kholi
On the final day of the trek, you’ll start your journey back to Manali after a hearty breakfast at the campsite. The trail for today is the same route you followed on the first day, making the return trek relatively easier.
You’ll trek for about three hours to reach Kulang Village, where a vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Manali. Enjoy the scenic views one last time as you descend.
As you reach Manali, your Bhrigu Lake trek officially comes to an end. You’ll leave with a backpack full of memories, having experienced the beauty of the Himalayas and the tranquility of Bhrigu Lake. With the camaraderie of fellow trekkers and the guidance of your trek leaders, it’s sure to be a journey you’ll cherish forever.
