By 9:00 AM, get ready to begin your trek, exploring the stunning beaches of Gokarna:

1. Om Beach: Start your trek with a visit to Om Beach, located about 8 km from the town of Gokarna. This iconic beach gets its name from its unique shape, resembling the sacred ‘OM’ symbol, with two semi-circular crescent-shaped shorelines meeting together. It’s the perfect spot to take in the natural beauty of Gokarna.

2. Dolphin Point: From Om Beach, continue trekking through a small forest trail, leading you to Dolphin Point. Here, you’ll get a fantastic view of the coastline and the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset in the evening.

3. Half Moon Beach: After Dolphin Point, follow the coastal trail to Half Moon Beach. Known for its peaceful, secluded vibe, this crescent-shaped beach offers clear waters and a serene atmosphere—ideal for relaxation.

On the way, make a stop at Murudeshwara Temple, home to India’s second-largest statue of Lord Shiva. The temple is a must-see, with its stunning architecture and tranquil surroundings. Make sure to visit before 1:00 PM, as the temple closes in the afternoon.

Next, if time permits, indulge in a Honnavara Backwater Boat Ride (at your own cost), where you can experience the serene beauty of the backwaters and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this hidden gem.
