Trip Schedule
  • Day 1 : Arrival in Guwahati  : Welcome all for The Cross Border India – Thailand Motorbike Ride. Arrive directly to Guwahati with your Bike. Guwahati is our starting point of Ride. Once you arrive check in to the Hotel. Relax or You can explore the town. By Evening be ready for discussion with the Road Captain for next day ride.
  • Day 2 : Guwahati to Kohima : Here we go Lets the dream project of Motorbike expedition from India to Thailand via Myanmar. After early breakfast we start our ride. The road condition will test your riding skill be ready for some off roading due to rough patches.  We need Inner line permit to enter Kohima. Upon arrival check in to your Hotel and relax.
  • Day 3: Kohima to Imphal : Gear up for today’s ride. Road are tough and challenging. For roading lovers. It’s a good day to experience some challenging patches. It consists of single lane bad roads, slush, might get rain specially on Hills region would test your skills. Roads are far better than last day ride but they are still going to give you discomfort. Once we enter Manipur the road gets better with 4 lane highway. Total around 80% roads are off road and 20% good roads.
  • Day 4: Rest Day in Imphal : This day has been reserved for rest day. We can also use this for local sightseeing and vehicle servicing.  Before crossing International Border it is highly advisable to thoroughly check your bike for this International Road Trip to Thailand from India. Make sure to have enough spare parts before entering to different country next day.
  • Day 5 : Imphal to Kale (Myanmar): Much awaited day to cross Borders and enter into whole new country Myanmar. The first change you will see here is right-hand driving. We we would need take care of Carnet which is flat 50,000 for 2 wheelers. An escort vehicle will be ready for us to cross the country near friendship bridge at Moreh Border, which is also mandatory as per the rules. After all documentation formalities We will enter exit India border and enter Myanmar Border. India to Myanmar would be next level of feeling like never before and that too on your motorcycle. Immigration formalities will take place at Tamu few KM’s away from Friendship Bridge.
  • Day 6 : Ride Kale to Monywa  : Geat up and get ready for today’s adventure in different Country. Single Lane, Less Traffic, few bridges, slush and little off-roading are highlights of Today’s ride. Be ready and ride carefully in case its raining while riding.
  • Day 7 : Monywa to Mandalay : Check Out from the Hotel and get ready for another thrilling day ride. Ride withe beautiful surrounding with panoramic view of natural beauty. Few kilometers before Mandaya, the roads will slightly get better. Check in to the Hotel and Have Rest, In the evening you can explore the nearby places.
  • Day 8 : Rest Day : Today, The day has been reserved relax and  Bike check up for further journey.
  • Day 9 : Mandalay to Bago : Wake up early in the Morning. Roads from the route to Bago from Mandalay are single lane but they are still good to ride through. Too many glorious & magnificent palaces, Kanbawzathadi golden palace, pagodas will come across on the way to Bago. Bago is a beautiful city that attracts a lot of tourists.
  • Day 10 : Ride Bago to Hpa-An : It is a short day ride, The distance between Bago to Hpa-An is only 220 KM’s. On the way scenic views, beautiful places & pagodas to stop by and visit. Have a relaxing evening in Hpa-Ann.
  • Day 11 : Hpa-An (Myanmar) to Tak (Thailand) : Another exciting day of India to Thailand Road Trip where we will be take an exit from Myanmar and enter Thailand. Complete Immigration and  Carnet de passage formalities and we would be able to enter Thailand. On the side of the border our Thai will be waiting for you to escort throughout in Thailand. from here we will ride till TaK. Once reached have a rest and enjoy the evening.
  • Day 12 : Ride from Tak to Bangkok : Its again a left hand driving country. It will self satisfying to ride till Bangkok by road. The India to Bangkok road take you the next level of experience with joy of ride, fun of mixed cultures. Road are amazing and broad from Tak to Bangkok.  It will take around 7 to 8 hours to reach Bangkok. Enjoy the city lights and delicious food of Thailand. India to Bangkok by Road just like a accomplishing milestone.
  • Day 13 : Rest Day and Explore the city :  Finally, you’ve made it from India to Bangkok (Thailand) by road. Explore and enjoy the beautiful city that never sleeps. You can also spend some some leisure time in busy streets of Bangkok.

Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the date of tour start will be subject to the
following a Rs.15,000/- per person cancellation fee.
Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure will be subject to the following forfeit of
25% tour cost;
45-30 days – 50 % of the tour cost;
30-20 days- 75% of tour cost;
within 20 days- 100% of tour cost.
No exception to this policy can be made for any reason.

  • What is the Distance between Guwahati to Kohima ? The total distance between Delhi to Lucknow is around 350KM’s and it takes around 9-10 Hours
  • Do we need ILP (inner Line permit for Kohima)?  Yes, we require inner line permit for Nagaland
  • Validity of passport? The passport should have a validity of 6 months.
  • Do we need Carnet de Passage ? What are the charges of Carnet de Passage? For India to Thailand Road Trip, rider needs a carnet the passage to borders from India to Myanmar and then again from Myanmar to Thailand and if you want to go further a road trip to till Malaysia or Singapore Carnet is mandatory.

Around 200% to 300% of the market value of your bike / Car to be submitted which is               a refundable security deposit. Apart from the 50000 Fees for the motorcycle

  • Do we need International Driving Licence for Bike Trip from India to Thailand or A road India to Singapore? International Driving Licence (IDP) is a mandatory document for India to Thailand Road Trip
  • Can we extend this trip till Singapore? Borders from Thailand is connected with Malaysia and then till Singapore by road. Additional charges applicable for Add on’s places like Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Do we need visa’s for these Road trip to Thailand or Road trip from India to Singapore?Yes, We need visa’s for Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore to cross borders.  International permit won’t be considered valid until you have your Indian driving license
  • Are we allowed to do self camping while on a Road Trip from India to Thailand? No, We are not allowed to camp. Stay must on Pre booked hotel rooms.
  • Do we need to exchange currency? Though India currency in acceptable in main cities of these countries however we still suggest you to carry enough currency notes of these country or Dollar’s.
