Day 2 – Trek to Kodachadri Peak
6:00 AM – Arrival at the Campsite
After an overnight journey, we’ll arrive at the base of Kodachadri. Freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead.
8:00 AM – Trek Begins
The day starts with a scenic trek towards Kumble Village. From here, we head towards Hidlumane Waterfalls, a beautiful series of six cascading waterfalls, each falling from a height of 50-70 feet. Immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings, the roaring water, and the lush greenery of the forest.
Trek to Kodachadri Peak
After spending time at the waterfalls, we continue the trek towards Kodachadri Peak, which is renowned for its stunning views. Enjoy the scenic trek as you pass through dense forests, spotting various flora and fauna along the way. You might even get a glimpse of a rock python in the wild!
Lunch on the Trail
We’ll stop for a packed lunch during the hike, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the fresh mountain air.
Kodachadri Peak Summit
Reach the top of Kodachadri Peak in the afternoon and be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Western Ghats and the surrounding landscape. The sight from the peak, with its rolling hills and distant vistas, is sure to leave you in awe.
Sunset and Descent
After soaking in the magnificent views, we’ll enjoy a stunning sunset from the peak before beginning the descent back to the campsite.
Evening Campfire & Dinner
Once we return to the campsite, enjoy hot snacks and a warm beverage. Then, unwind by a cozy campfire, sharing stories and laughter. End the day with a delicious dinner, prepared with local flavors, and retire to your tents for a restful night under the stars.

Day 3 – Exploration of Nagara Fort and Return Journey
Start your day early with a mesmerizing sunrise over the mountains, a perfect way to soak in the serenity of the Kodachadri range. Enjoy the breathtaking views as the sun rises above the misty peaks.
After a hearty breakfast, pack up and around 9:00 AM, we’ll begin our exploration of Nagara Fort, a historical site steeped in the charm of its ancient ruins. Wander through the fort and take in the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
Once we’ve soaked in the history and beauty of the fort, we’ll begin our journey back to Bangalore. Relax during the scenic drive, reliving the memories of the trek.
By evening, we’ll drop you off at the designated points in Bangalore, marking the end of your memorable Kodachadri adventure.
