Day 1 – Drive from Bangalore to Base Camp for Netravathi Trek
Overnight Journey to Netravathi | Begin the Trek
On Friday evening, we begin our Netravathi trekking adventure with pick-up points across Bangalore. You can board the vehicle from any of the following locations:

After pick-up, we’ll embark on an overnight journey to Netravathi. Relax and get some rest as we head towards the base camp, where the trek will begin the next day.
Day 2 – Begin the Netravathi Trek
Arrival and Trek to Netravathi Peak
On the morning of Day 2, we will arrive at Netravathi around 6:00 AM. After freshening up and having a hearty breakfast, we’ll head towards the base camp to prepare for the trek.
By 8:00 AM, we’ll begin our trek to Netravathi Peak, located 16 kilometers from the base camp (round trip). The journey will take us through lush forests and scenic landscapes. We’ll take a break for lunch along the way, allowing everyone to recharge for the remaining distance.
Upon reaching the summit, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
After enjoying the vistas, we will start our descent and aim to return to the base camp by 6:00 PM. Once back, we’ll unwind with a warm bonfire and a delicious dinner. The evening will be spent relaxing under the stars before retiring for the night.
Day 3 – Visit Samse Tea Estate, Hanging Bridge, Belur Temple & Return to Bangalore
Start your day with a refreshing wake-up call at 7:00 AM, followed by a hearty breakfast at 7:30 AM to fuel up for the day’s explorations.
After breakfast, we’ll head towards the picturesque Samse Tea Estate, where you can enjoy the lush green tea gardens and the peaceful ambiance. Spend some time exploring the estate before we continue our journey.
By 11:00 AM, we’ll check out from the homestay and begin our return journey to Bangalore. En route, we will visit the iconic Hanging Bridge, a popular spot offering great views and a perfect photo opportunity.
Around 1:00 PM, we’ll stop at the historical Belur Temple, known for its intricate architecture and cultural significance. After visiting the temple, you’ll have some free time for a self-sponsored lunch.
Afterward, we’ll resume our journey and head back to Bangalore. Expect to reach Bengaluru by 8:00 PM, marking the end of an unforgettable trip.
