Day 1 – Trek to Grahan Village | 5 Hours

Meet our company representative in Kasol early in the morning. After a brief introduction to your fellow trekkers and an overview of the trip, the group leader will provide instructions for the trek ahead. Once everyone is ready, we begin our adventure.
Today’s trek takes us from Kasol to Grahan Village, located at an altitude of 2,347 meters. The 9 km journey will take approximately 5 hours to complete, offering a blend of alpine meadows, lush forests, and cascading waterfalls along the way.
We begin our trek through a dense forest of towering pine trees, the scent of Himalayan flora filling the air. As we continue, the trail becomes steeper and passes through groves of vibrant rhododendron flowers, especially stunning in the spring. You will have the opportunity to admire the serene beauty of the Parvati Valley as we approach Grahan Nahal, a flat stretch that leads us into the final ascent towards Grahan Village.
Upon arrival, enjoy a well-deserved lunch and take some time to explore the village. The quaint town, nestled amidst the mountains, offers splendid views and a peaceful atmosphere. After a day of trekking, unwind with a delicious dinner around a cozy bonfire. Settle into your tents for a restful night in the serene Grahan Village, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.
Day 2 – Trek from Grahan Village to Mung Thach | 5 hours
Min Thach
Start your day early to witness the breathtaking Himalayan sunrise. After a hearty breakfast, we begin our trek towards Mung Thach, a journey that will take approximately 4-5 hours to complete.
The trek begins with a gradual incline, making it easier at first, but gradually becomes steeper as we ascend. As you trek through the dense forest, the sound of distant flowing water will accompany you, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere of the wilderness. The path winds its way through tall trees, with occasional glimpses of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
After a steady climb, we reach Mung Thach, our campsite for the night. Take some time to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area. The sunset from this vantage point is magical, casting a golden glow over the mountains, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable moment.
In the evening, gather around the bonfire to share stories, enjoy a delicious dinner, and reflect on the day’s adventures. As the night sets in, retreat to your tents for a restful sleep under the starry sky, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Himalayas.
Day 3 – Trek from Mung Thach to Nagaru | 6 hours
Nagaru
Start your day early, soaking in the beauty of a Himalayan sunrise. After a nourishing breakfast, we begin our trek to Nagaru, located at an altitude of 3795 meters. The climb on this day will be more challenging, as the trail becomes steeper and increasingly slippery due to the snow. It is essential to follow the trek leader’s instructions carefully and take adequate breaks to help your body acclimatize.
The trek will test your stamina and determination, but the rewards are worth it. As you ascend, you will be treated to stunning panoramic views of the Parvati Valley. The snow-capped peaks surrounding the valley create a picture-perfect landscape, offering views that will take your breath away. From this high vantage point, you may even spot the small village of Manikaran, nestled in the valley below, twinkling in the distance.
After reaching Nagaru, take in the vastness of the Himalayan ranges, and feel the sense of accomplishment. As evening falls, enjoy a hearty dinner before retiring to your tents for the night. The next day’s journey to Sar Pass is just around the corner!
Day 4 – Trek from Nagaru to Biskeri Thatch via the Sar Pass | 7 hours
Biskeri Thatch
Start your day early to witness the magical sunrise over the snow-capped peaks, followed by a hearty breakfast to fuel you for the adventure ahead. Today, we make our way to Biskeri Thatch, crossing the majestic Sar Pass.
The climb is challenging, as the trail is steep and blanketed in thick, sparkling snow. As you ascend, take in the breathtaking views of the Tosh Valley and the Sar Pass, with its awe-inspiring landscape unfolding before your eyes. Once you reach the top, the stillness of the mountains will envelop you, and you’ll be treated to a bird’s-eye view of the valley below, offering a moment of peace and accomplishment.
Now comes the fun part—an exhilarating descent! You’ll slide down the mountain slopes for about a kilometre, an experience you’ll never forget. Once you reach the gentler slopes, a short walk of about an hour and a half will bring you to Biskeri Thatch, your campsite for the night.
As evening sets in, enjoy a spectacular sunset over the Himalayas, followed by a delicious dinner. After an unforgettable day, head to your tents to rest, preparing for the final stretch of this epic journey.
Day 5 – Trek from Biskeri Thatch to Barshaini and Return to Kasol | 5 hours

Start the final day of your trek with an early rise to witness the last Himalayan sunrise of the journey. After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to begin the descent to Barshaini.
The trail starts with a steep descent, taking you through an open plot of land before winding into a dense forest. You’ll cross a bubbling stream along the way, and soon reach the village of Tulga. Take a short break here to recharge, and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
From Tulga, continue your trek towards Barshaini. Cross a bridge over the roaring River Parvati, and as you make your way into the village, you’ll be greeted by the tranquil atmosphere of the region. Take a moment to interact with the locals and immerse yourself in the peaceful culture of the area, if time permits.
Afterward, the transport will take you back to Kasol, where you’ll arrive in the afternoon. The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore Kasol and the surrounding areas at your leisure, bringing your unforgettable trek to a close.
