Itinerary for Bike Tour to Ladakh from Srinagar

  • Day 1 :Arrival In Srinagar
    Arrive at Srinagar, check to the Hotel. Spend time relaxing and exploring the city the day before your trip. Restful Overnight Stay in Srinagar.
  • Day 2 : Srinagar To Kargil (200 Km | 4-5 Hrs | 2,675 M)
    Rise to a beautiful morning and prepare to embark on an exciting day. After breakfast, you will board your bikes and we will begin our Ladakh adventure towards the scenic resort town of Sonmarg. From here, ride to the summit of Zoji La before descending into Ladakh. When you arrive in Drass Village, stop by the Kargil War Memorial to learn more about the 1999 battle. Following that, proceed to Kargil for an overnight stay in a hotel.
  • Day 3 : Kargil To Leh (220 Km | 4-5 Hrs | 3,499 M)
    The Ensuing Stretch Of The Motorbike Trip To Leh Ladakh Tour We Will Cross Two High-Elevation Mountain Passes.     Get ready, as you will climb the highest motorable road of the world and enter the beautiful Nubra Valley. You will cross places such as – Khardung La – 18,380 ft. Highest motorable road we can have a lunch break at North Pullu Permit checkpost.

  • Day 5 – Nubra To Turtuk & Nubra (163 Km | 4-5 Hrs | 3,001 M)
    Today Morning, You Will Get Ready To Explore A Place Which Was Under Pakistan Before 1971, Turtuk Village. It Is Located In The Nubra Tehsil, 205 Km From The Leh Town, On The Banks Of The Shyok River, And Is The Last Village Before Loc. It Spells Stunning Beauty Throughout The Valley. After Exploring Turtuk You Will Ride Back Towards Nubra To Stay Overnight In Your Pre-Booked Hotel. On Reaching, You Can Take A Rode On Bacterian Camel Of Nubra Valley.
  • Day 6 – Nubra To Pangong (150 Km | 3-4 Hrs | 4,349 M)
    Today Morning, You Will Leave Behind The Stark Region And Move Toward The Pristine Pangong Lake. Enroute You Will Pass Through Shyok Village, Which Has Been Recently Open For The Tourists. On Reaching The Shores Of This Enchanting Water-body, Take In Its Beauty And Tranquility, And Capture Photos Of The Realm. Later, Transfer To The Campsite For A Warming Bonfire And A Peaceful Overnight Stay In The Lap Of Nature.
  • Day 7 – Pangong To Leh (160 Km | 5-6 Hrs | 4,522 M)
    Open your eyes to the scenic view of the Pangong Tso. After Having Breakfast We Will Leave For Leh. Today We Will Cross The Second Highest Pass Of The World, Chang La (17,590 ft). This Pass Is Considered Amongst The Toughest Passes. This Pass Connects Leh With The Changthang Plateau. Before Climbing The Mighty Pass WeWill See A Small Lake, Known As Tsoltak. After Crossing The Pass We Will Descend Down To Shakti And Will Continue The Remaining Journey On The Manali-Leh Highway. We will Reach Leh By Early Evening And Enjoy The City AndSpend The Night Over There.
  • Day 8 – Leh To Sarchu \ Jispa (250\320 Km | 9-10 Hrs | 4,290 M)
    In The Morning, After A Scrumptious Meal Of Breakfast, The Next Stop For Your Tour Is Sarchu. You Will Pass Through The Borders Of Jammu And Kashmir And Himachal Pradesh, Taking In The Panoramic Vision Of The Mighty Mountains And Colors Of Nature. You Will Pass Through The Third Highest Pass, Tanglang La (17,480 ft). Then You Will Pass Through Morey-Plains, A Plateau At A Astounding Height Of 15,500+ft With A 45 km Stretch of Flat Road. You Will Then Cross The Twin Passes – Lachung La (16,616 ft) & Nakee La (15,547 ft) Before Reaching The Famous Gata Loops (21 Hairpin Bends). Then By Evening, You Will Be Reaching Sarchu.
  • Day 9 – Sarchu \ Jispa To Manali (120\200 Km | 6-8 Hrs | 2,050 M)
    Wake Up With Sunrise In Jispa And Have Your Breakfast In The Accommodation. We Riding Towards The Last Day Of Your Adventurous Journey. Kick Start The Bike And Pass Through The Iconic Route Of Rohtang Pass And Some Of The Most Scenic Villages Of Lahaul Valley. Reach Manali And Stay Overnight At Your Pre-Booked Hotel.
  • Day 10 – Departure from Manali
    As Soon As Morning Unfolds, Get Ready As Today Will Be The Last Day Of Your Srinagar To Manali Motorbike Expedition. After A Hearty Meal Of Breakfast, You Can Explore Manali At Your Own Leisure and move ahead for your further destinations.
  • Bike – Royal Enfield Himalayan 411cc with helmets for rider and pillion.
  • Motorbike Fuel – for the complete trip as per the itinerary & package
  • Accommodation – Triple Sharing Basis; for couple – twin sharing
  • Meals – Breakfast & Dinner (from Day 1 Dinner till Day 10 Breakfast)

  • Cost of any spare part which will be used due to the accidental damage incurred when the motorbike is in rider’s possession.
  • Cost incurred to transfer or tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way.
  • Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package inclusions
  • Security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 5,000/- As per the deposit policy (This is refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts used.)
  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
  • Any cost incurred due to extension, change of itinerary due to natural calamities, road, blocks, vehicle breakdown, union issues and factors beyond our control
  • Anything that is not mentioned in the Inclusion sections
  • 5% GST

4) If you are bringing your own bike, please bring all relevant documentation, including insurance papers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The check-in time is 12 noon/early check-in is subject to room availability.
  • The check-out time is 10 a.m.
  • We require a minimum of 8 riders to operate one group. We reserve the right to cancel any group if the required number of riders is not met.
  • If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or other factors beyond the tour operator’s control, such as hotel stays, transportation, and meals, an additional bill will be raised. The additional costs will not be borne by BACKPACKCLAN or the participating partners/hotels.
  • BACKPACKCLAN is not responsible for any itinerary changes caused by factors beyond our control, such as changes in flight and train schedules, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomena, and so on.
  • If any group member wishes to leave the tour in the middle, he or she must pay the cost of transportation of the bike from the point of departure to the Manali drop-off point.
  • Members of the group would have to purchase their own riding equipment. It is mandatory to wear a helmet and have a valid ID and driver’s licence.
  • All guests will be responsible for their own luggage’s safety and security. We will not be held liable for any damage, missing, or lost luggage. Carry a small daypack bag to carry all of your valuables. Compensation for any damage/accident caused by you during the tour to others’ property/persons would be payable directly by you.
  • Any inappropriate behaviour by the client during the trip will not be tolerated, and Backpackclan (KSN Tours Private Limited) reserves the right to cancel such bookings at any time during the trip without refund
  • Bookings are not transferable and are not refundable
  • In the event of any changes to the booking, the consumer must notify Backpackclan in advance (KSN Tours Private Limited)
  • The booking cannot be transferred. Only the names listed at the time of booking will be permitted to travel.
  • IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR ADVENTURE HOLIDAY
    We do make advance preparations. We are unlikely to have to make any changes to your travel plans. We may need to make changes due to Force Majeure Events on occasion, and we reserve the right to do so at any time before or during the trip.
    If any changes occur as a result of Force Majeure Events, we will notify you as soon as possible before or during the trip.
  • We also reserve the right, in the event of Force Majeure, to cancel your travel arrangements, offer alternative dates, or revise the itinerary before or during the trip. Any additional costs incurred as a result of the aforementioned reasons must be borne by the traveller. Under Force Majeure Events, the traveller will not be refunded.
  • Force Majeure Event shall mean and include any circumstance beyond BACKPACKCLAN’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, any act of nature or the public enemy, accident, explosion, fire, storm, earthquake, flood, drought, perils of the sea, casualty, strikes, lock-outs, labour troubles, riots, sabotage, terrorist acts, embargo, war (whether declared or not), governmental actions, delay in issuance or processing of Visa/permit, change of laws and or other causes of like or different character beyond the control of BACKPACKCLAN
  • IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MODIFY YOUR ADVENTURE HOLIDAY PLAN, If you make a full or partial payment and want to change your travel arrangements in any way (for example, your preferred departure date or accommodation), we will do our best to accommodate you, but this may not always be possible.
    Any request for changes must be made in writing by the person who made the reservation. The traveller will be responsible for any costs incurred as a result of the amendment.
  • ALL DISPUTES ARE SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION OF DELHI.
    Road closures/blocks caused by snow accumulation on the highway, which may jeopardise the tour’s safety or smooth operation, may result in a change of itinerary or cancellation of the trip.
    In such cases, Backpackclan will not issue any refunds.

Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the date of tour start will be subject to the
following a Rs.5,000/- per person cancellation fee.
Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure will be subject to the following forfeit of
25% tour cost;
45-30 days – 50 % of the tour cost;
30-20 days- 75% of tour cost;
within 20 days- 100% of tour cost.
No exception to this policy can be made for any reason.
