Day 1 – Trek to Tosh Waterfall | Departure for Tosh Trek

– Meet at Barshaini: Your adventure begins with a meeting at Barshaini, where your guide and fellow trekkers will gather for a briefing before starting the trek.
– Trek to the Base Camp: From Barshaini, we head towards the base camp, which is conveniently located close to Tosh and Barshaini. This area is known for its picturesque beauty, offering a glimpse into the serene landscapes you’ll encounter during the trek.
– Tosh Waterfall Trek: After settling into the base camp, we embark on a 2.5 km trek to the Tosh Waterfall. This scenic journey is not steep, with a steady incline and decline, making it accessible to most trekkers. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding pine forests and mountains.
– Enjoy the Waterfall: Upon reaching the Tosh Waterfall, take in the natural beauty of the area. Listen to the soothing sound of the cascading water, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and take time to absorb the peaceful surroundings. It’s an ideal spot to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
– Return to Base Camp: After spending some time at the waterfall, begin your trek back to the base camp.
– Campfire and Stories: Upon returning, enjoy a warm campfire and share stories with fellow trekkers under the starlit sky. The evening will end with a restful night in tents or a homestay, ready for the next day’s adventures.

Day 2 – Back to Barshaini

Barshaini

– Wake up to the morning chill: After a restful night, wake up to the cool mountain air and the serenity of the surrounding landscape. The early morning offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a fresh start to the day.
– Breakfast and start the trek back: After enjoying a hearty breakfast, begin your descent back to Barshaini. The trek back through the Parvati Valley is equally scenic, offering new perspectives on the valley and its surroundings.
– Explore scenic villages: On your way back, you’ll pass through picturesque towns like Nakthan and Rudra Nag. These charming villages are perfect for short breaks to stretch, interact with locals, and maybe grab a quick snack or supplies.
– Reach Barshaini: After the trek, you’ll arrive in Barshaini, completing the journey. Here, you have some free time to explore the area. Take a walk around the village, or head to the nearby Tosh village to discover its natural beauty and local culture.
– Optional activities: If you have the energy, you can visit the Tosh river or even explore the surrounding mountains and valleys further. Alternatively, you can head back to Kasol to continue your journey.

This marks the end of the Tosh trek, leaving you with memories of the beautiful Parvati Valley and the tranquil Tosh Waterfall.
