Uttarakhand Bike Trip for 10 Days – Backpackclan


Uttarakhand is an Inidan state which is home to the one of the tallest mountains of the world, it is also a religious state which gives birth to the biggest and the main river of India, Ganga. Uttarakhand is enjoyed most from a seat of a motorbike. Tall, trees, massive mountains and good roads (Indian standard), what else do you need. Encompassed with forests, rivers and peaks and much more, it is a very picturesque state.

You will go to places like Binsar, Auli a skiing resort & a hill station, Jim Corbett the most popular tiger reserve of India, Munsiyari and many more. You will also trek to Chopta Chandrashila peak, which has a stunning and a panoromic view of the Himalayan peaks. The ride and trek will amaze you and will surely take your breath away.

Trip Schedule

New Delhi to Rishikesh (250 kms ) The journey starts from New Delhi at 5:30 am. Rajaji National Park would be the first sight of river Ganga, its beauty will leave you spellbound. You will go for rafting in the evening. You will end the day by relaxing around the bonfire with your friends.
Rishikesh to Chopta (160 kms) You will leave for Chopta by 7 am. Chopta is one of the most pristine places of Uttrakhand, with a mesmerizing view of the snow-capped mountains. The highest Shiva temple is in chopta.
Trek to Chopta Chandrashila (16kms) After breakfast you will start your trek towards Chopta Chandrashila, the beauty on the trek will leave you awestruck at many places. You will get the chance to pray at the highest Shiva temple in the world. You will then relax at your stay in Chopta.
Chopta to Joshimath (135 km) Joshimath is a city and a municipal board in the Chamoli District. After breakfast you will embark on the journey, by 7 am we will leave. It’s a 7-8 hours ride, after reaching you can rest/relax or have fun with your friends.
Joshimath – Auli – Joshimath (32 km) You will leave for Auli by 9 am from Joshimath. Auli is a Himalayan ski resort and hill station. The place is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests which is majestic. The Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains will add icing on the cake. After little exploration and many pictures you will head back to Joshimath.
Joshimath to Kausani (190 km) We will leave for kausani early morning, which is situated in Bageshwar district. Panoromic view of Nanda Devi, Trishul and Panchchuli peaks will leave you speechless.
Kausani to Munsiyari (190 km) We will head towards Munsiyari, a picturesque hill station, which is home to the majestic Panchachuli Peaks. The place is heaven for nature lovers. We will then end the trip by staying at Munsiyari.
Munsiyari to Binsar (180 km) Wake up to a beautiful morning and get ready to leave for Binsar. The flaura and fauna will amaze you. It’s also a good place to go for small hikes into the forests filled with rare animals. You can relax at the stay with the pleasant sound of the forest.
Binsar to Jim Corbett (180 km) You will start the day on a beautiful note as you will ride to Jim Corbett. India’s most famous tiger, we will also go for an early morning safari which will amaze you. A camera and binoculars will let you admire the rare animals even more.
Jim Corbett to Delhi (245 km) After breakfast you will leave for Delhi, the last day of your trip. It will take approximately 8 hours to reach Delhi, after reaching Delhi your motorbike trip to Uttrakhand comes to an end.

Trip Exclusions

  1. 5% GST
  2. Government service tax as per actual personal expenses like telephoen, laundry, tips and table drinks, etc.
  3. Any air fare/ rail fare
  4. Any meal which is not mentioned in package
  5. Security deposit per motorbike, as per the deposit policy (this is refundable at the end of the trip)
  6. Rider/pillion will be responsible for paying for their personal transportation and snacks other than that included in package
  7. If at all unavoidable circumstances or natural calamities arises due to which the trip gets extended then the extra charge will be taken for the same
  8. Wheelify hold the rights to cancel the tour if minimum 10 pax are not booked
