The 8-9 hour journey includes meal breaks and takes you through winding roads, pine and oak forests, and charming hill stations alongside the river. Upon arrival, soak in the stunning Himalayan sunset, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind in a cozy homestay, ready for the adventures ahead.
Start your day with a stunning sunrise and a hearty breakfast before trekking 5 km to Jakha, located at 8,755 ft. The gentle trail passes through apple and apricot orchards and vibrant rhododendrons. Upon arrival, enjoy a breathtaking sunset and relax. End your day with a delicious dinner under a starry sky before retiring to your cozy homestay for the night.
Begin your day with a beautiful sunrise and breakfast before trekking 11 km to Dandreyash Thatch. This 8-hour, moderately challenging trek rewards you with stunning snowy ridge views and trails through mixed forests. Upon arrival, enjoy a hearty dinner and rest in cozy sleeping tents, ready to recharge for the next adventure.
Start your day with a stunning sunrise and breakfast before trekking 4 hours to Upper Waterfall at 13,275 ft. The gradual incline leads through forests of birch, pine, and oak, passing roaring waterfalls and bubbling streams. At your destination, you'll find a serene valley to set up camp. After enjoying a peaceful sunset, savor a delicious dinner and rest in your tents for the night.
Begin at 4:30 AM for the trek's longest and most thrilling day. Ascend steeply to Rupin Pass, with the final 200 meters being especially challenging. Snow patches and stunning valley views surround you. Carry ample hot water as resources are scarce. At Rupin Pass, marvel at the multicolored flags and open vistas before descending to Ronti Gad. Pitch your tents, enjoy a restful evening, and retire for the night.
Start your day with a refreshing morning and a hearty breakfast before beginning the descent to Sangla. - Arrive by noon and embark on your return drive to Shimla, concluding your incredible trek. Drive Distance: 213 km.
