Start the epic ride after getting all formalities related to your trip to Bhutan. Our local guide will take care of all the paper work, you just have to relax and ride. Haa Valley is a lesser known beautiful destination in Bhutan. As you start your ride in Bhutan, you will gain altitude and ride though the clouds. The peace and culture will bring a smile to your face.
Leaving Haa in the morning, your vehicle ascends toward the breathtaking Chele La Pass , sitting at an altitude of nearly 3,988 meters as Bhutan's highest motorable pass. Here, you can pause to admire the fluttering colorful prayer flags, breathe in the crisp alpine air, and—weather permitting—enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the majestic Mount Jomolhari. Continuing your descent through pine and rhododendron forests, the winding mountain road brings you back down into the lush Paro Valley, where you can check into your hotel, explore local handicraft shops, or prepare for upcoming adventures like a visit to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery
Trek to the iconic Paro Taktsang or explore Paro town. Post lunch, ride to Bhutan’s capital city – Thimphu. Thimphu is the largest city in Bhutan and it makes you feel like one. As you enter, you see a lot of well constructed infrastructure and a lot of vehicles moving in fast pace. You will be amazed to see so many vehicles all managed by own without traffic lights and honking. Overnight in Thimphu.
As you leave the city of Thimphu, you will start your ascend to Dochu La Pass where 108 chortens will keep you spellbound. The pass has a cafe on top where you can sip a coffee and continue the ride. Later, explore the untouched beauty of Phobjikha Valley and continue to Punakha, a scenic town surrounded by rivers and valleys. Overnight in Punakha.
Without spending some quality time in the city of Thimphu your trip will remain incomplete. The night life in Bhutan is worth experiencing with a stroll to market and the Karaoke nights in a pub where you can enjoy some drinks with friends. Ride back to Thimphu and visit highlights like: Folk Heritage Museum Buddha Dordenma Statue Thimphu View Point Overnight in Thimphu.
As we now start towards the end of this memorable journey, the final day of our ride begins. Reach Phuentsholing by afternoon and do some shopping and buy souvineers for your loved ones from Bhutan. Overnight in Phuenstholing.
Trip ends post-breakfast with unforgettable memories of your Bhutan motorbike expedition. We drop you to the Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri City.
