Motorable passes in Ladakh are the major attraction in India’s northernmost state. A motorable pass is a steep and narrow mountain pass that is only traversable by motorized vehicles. Khardung La Highest Motorable Pass

The most famous motorable pass in Ladakh is the Khardung La. At an altitude of 5602 meters, this pass is considered to be the world’s highest motorable pass and was opened in 1976. Chang La 

The Chang La is another motorable pass that is situated at 5360 meters and is located about 2hrs from Leh. It is the second-highest motorable pass in India and provides breathtaking views of the Zanskar mountain range. 

Other popular passes located in Ladakh are the Wari La, Kongka La, Taglang La, and Changthang La.
