The trek is of easy grade and so you can do it if you are a first timer and looking to start trekking to other summits in Himalayas. This trek can be taken throughout the year because weather remains good. You can do it with your friends, family or even children.

The trek is at an altitude of 9900 feet which is quite high and therefore the weather at night is usually cold, it can range from minus temperatures in winters to 25 degrees in a day of peak summer but yes it still remains a good place to trek. The winters are harsh and the trek becomes a bit technical as you will have to use the snow-gators and poles. The camping at the peak will make you believe that it indeed is a place you would crave to come again as the views of Banderpunch on one side and then you get to see the slopes of Spiti in himachal Pradesh on the other side.
