We will commence our Dream Ride today, departing for the holy city, Amritsar. A smooth ride, mainly riding on the Highway, we will cross places like – Murthal – Famous for its ‘Dhabas’ and Restaurants, Kurukshetra – The epic Mahabharata battle was fought on this ground Ludhiana – An industrial city in the State of Punjab.


Today we will leave for the winter capital of Jammu & Kashmir U.T. Jammu. We will enter the foothills of the mighty Himalayas, while crossing places like – Gurdaspur – Guru Nanakji spent his last days before going to Pakistan Ravi River – One of the 5 rivers of the Punjab Region


Post breakfast we will leave for the mountains, specifically Srinagar. The summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir U.T. We wil see places like – Jhelum River – One of the 5 rivers that flow through the Punjab Region Jawahar Tuunel – Also called the Banihal Tunnel, 2.85kms in length Chenani – Nashir Tunnel – The longest tunnel of our country, 9.28kms in length Udhampur – Northern Command headquarters of the Indian Army.


Today we will leave for Kargil, entering the Ladakh region. Crossing many scenic places and valleys, like – Sonmarg – Its name translates into Meadow of Gold Zoji La – 11,570 ft. The first pass on this Highway Dras – The second coldest inhabited place in the world Kargil War Memorial – is a war memorial, commemorating the 1999 Kargil War.

DAY 5 – KARGIL TO LEH (220Kms)

Today we will leave for the main point of our trip, Leh. We will reach by evening, crossing many scenic natural beauties, like Namik La – 12,139 ft. A pass which lies on the Zanskar Range Fotu La – 13,478 ft. Highest pass on the Srinagar – Leh Highway Lamayuru – Famous for its moon type landscape.

DAY 6- LEH REST DAY (40-60Kms)

Today have fun and roam around the city you have been dreaming about for months or maybe years. You can visit many places like – Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Mall Road, Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Sangam.

Day 7 – LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY (140Kms)

Get ready, as you will climb the highest motorable road of the world and enter the beautiful Nubra Valley. You will cross places such as – Khardung La – 18,380 ft. Highest motorable road we can have a lunch break at North Pullu Permit checkpost.

Khalsar – Halt. Just a small village on the banks of river Shyok

Things to Do in Hunder – Sand Dunes, ATV ride and Camel ride.


We will leave for Pangong Tso post breakfaast, maybe one of the most attractive place of Ladakh. For the majority of the ride we will be riding alongside the Shyok river.

We will come across places like –

Agham – Halt. A tiny village where the road cuts for Wari La (en route Leh)

Durbok – Lunch. A village where the road cuts for Chang La and Pangong Tso

Tangste – Checkpost. Last permit check before Pangong Tso


Wake up to a chilly morning with the view of the scenic Pangong Tso. We will leave early so that we can reach Leh early and enjoy our day relaxing or shopping .

We will see places like –

Tsoltak – Halt. A small lake, the climb for Chang La starts from here

Chang La – 17,590 ft. 2nd highest pass of the world

Karu/Shakti – Lunch.

Day 10 – LEH TO SARCHU (250 Km’s)

Post breakfast we will depart for Sarchu, starting our journey towards Delhi, after enjoying the serene Leh – Manali Highway. We will see places like –

Tanglang La – 17,480 ft. Highest pass on this highway

Morey Plains – A plateau at a height of 15,500+ ft

Lachulung La – 16,616 ft. One of the easier 16,000+ ft pass

Nakee La – 15,547 ft. Last pass for today

Gata loops – A section on the highway which has 21 hairpin bends

Day 11 : SARCHU TO MANALI (230 KM’s)

Wake up to a chilly morning, post breakfast we will leave for the Manali, a place famous for its adventure activites. We will cross places like –

Baralacha La – 16,040 ft. The first pass in Himachal , from Leh.

Jispa – A town from where the tree-line zone properly starts

Rohtang La – 13,050 ft. The pass through which you enter the Kullu valley


We will start our journey towards the plains today. We will reach Chandigarh by the evening.

We will see places like –

Mandi – One of the biggest towns of Himachal, situated on the bank of river Beas

Bilaaspur – Famous for its Gobind Sagar Lake


We will start the last day of the ride today, reaching Our start point, Delhi, by the evening. Remember all those fun moments you had during the trip and try to relieve them with a promise to meet soon. We will cross places like –

Kurukshetra – The epic Mahabharata battle waas fought in this area

Murthal – A place famous for its ‘Dhabas’ and Restaurants


  • Royal Enfield motorbike (350cc) with helmets for both the rider and the pillion.
  • Petrol for the motorbike, as per the itinerary. Own bike petrol is not included
  • All types of permits i.e. Manali Green Tribunal Permit and Inner Line Permit.
  • Experienced motorbike mechanic.
  • Services of an experienced Tour Captain and Road Captain. Tour Captain will be the Road Captain on smaller group sizes.
  • Tour Captain is First – Aid qualified
  • Oxygen cylinder and First – Aid for emergency purposes.
  • Backup Vehicle with facilities of carrying luggage, Motorbike spare parts and extra Petrol.
  • Seat in a MUV/SUV for people who have purchased the MUV/SUV package. From Day 1 to Day 13 (as per the itinerary).
  • Accommodation on double/triple sharing basis from Day 1 to Day 12 (as per the plan booked).
  • Breakfast and Dinner. From Dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 13.
  • Bonfire wherever possible, if it is chargeable then it is not included.
  • Any type of transportation fares which is not included in the itinerary/inclusions. Like – Airplane, train, car, etc.
  • Personal expenses of any kind. Like – Laundry, Sim card/Telephone, Parking charges, Entry charges into any attractions/monuments, etc.
  • Meals or food which is not mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Pickup or drop from and to any place. Like – Airport, Bus stop, etc.
  • Extra accommodations/meals other than the accommodations/meals mentioned in the itinerary/inclusions.
  • Cost of any spare parts used if the damage is caused when the motorbike is with the rider. Any type of charges if the motorbike is towed, dropped or transported.
  • Any type of extra cost incurred due to delay or cancellation of the trip due to political issues, natural calamities, road blocks or any other issues which is not under our control.
  • INR 10,000 security deposit for motorbikes (per 1 motorbike). Which will be returned at the end of the trip if the bike has not been damaged or not used any spare parts.
  • Riding gears for riders/pillions. Riding gears can be given on rental basis.
  • 5% GST
  • Anything which is not mentioned in the inclusions
  • 25% of the package amount should be paid as booking amount.
  • 50% of the package amount should be paid 45 days before your trip starts.
  • The balance amount should be paid 30 days before your trip starts.
  • Payment can be done online, by cash or the amount can be deposited in our bank account.
  • After the payment is processed a screenshot and/or scan of the same should be sent to us.
  • Booking will be cancelled if the entire package amount is not paid 30 days before the trip starts.
  • Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the date of tour start will be subject to the following a Rs.5,000/- per person cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure will be subject to the following forfeit of 25% tour cost
  • 45-30 days – 50 % of the tour cost
  • 30-20 days- 75% of tour cost
  • within 20 days- 100% of tour cost.
  • No exception to this policy can be made for any reason.

The check in time is 12 noon/early check in subject to availability of room.
We require minimum strength of 6 riders to operate one group. We have right to cancel the
group if we do not get minimum strength of riders in any group.
If there is any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of
the tour operator on account of hotel stay, transportation, and meals etc. extra bill will be
raised. Neither BACKPACKCLAN nor the participating partners/hotels will be responsible for the
additional expenses.
BACKPACKCLAN is not responsible for any change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control
like change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances,
natural phenomenon, etc
If any group member wants to leave group in-between the tour then he/she has to pay the cost
for transportation of bike from point of leaving the tour till Delhi drop
Group members would have to get own riding gears. Wearing a helmet, carrying a valid ID proof
& Driving license is mandatory.
All guests will be responsible for safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be at all
responsible for the damage/missing / lost luggage. So carry a small daypack bags to carry all
expensive things with you.
Compensation for any damage/accident done by you during tour to others property/person
would be directly payable by you

We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to
your travel arrangements. Occasionally, we may have to make changes due to Force Majeure
Events and we reserve the right to do so at any time before or during the trip.
If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date before or during
the triP based on the Force Majeure Events.
We also reserve the right under Force Majeure Events to cancel your travel arrangements / offer
alternative dates / revise the itinerary before or during the trip. Any additional cost incurred due to
the above mentioned reasons will have to be borne by the traveller himself. There shall be no
refund to the traveller under Force Majeure Events.
Force Majeure Event shall mean and include any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of
BACKPACKCLAN, including without limitation, any act of nature or the public enemy, accident,
explosion, fire, storm, earthquake, flood, drought, perils of the sea, casualty, strikes, lock-outs,
labour troubles, riots, sabotage, terrorists acts, embargo, war (whether or not declared),
governmental actions, delay in issuance or processing of Visa/permit, change of laws and
regulations, orders, or decrees, or other causes of like or different character beyond the control
IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR ADVENTURE HOLIDAY PLAN After you make full or partial payment, if
you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or
accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible.
Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost
incurred due to amendment will be borne by the traveller himself.
Road closure/blocks due to snow accumulation on the highway, which may effect the safety or
smooth operation of the the tour may result in change of itinerary or cancellation of the trip.
Backpackclan will not provide ay refunds in such cases.
